Hazaribagh Thana (Dhaka district) with an area of 3.58 sq km, is surrounded by Mohammadpur thana on the north, Kamrangirchar thana on the south, Dhanmondi and Lalbagh thanas on the east, Keraniganj upazila and Buriganga river on the west.
