Khaliajuri Upazila (Netrokona district) with an area of 297.64 sq km is surrounded by Moghanganj and Jamlganj upazilas on the north, Itna upazila on the south, Sullah upazila on the east, Madan upazila on the west.
Main rivers are Dhanu, Surma, Piyain, Chinai. Pagla, Dharaj, Ruksi, Keuria and Gorail Beels are noted.
Khalijuari (Town) consists of one mouza. Its area is 18.21 sq km. The town has a population of 4630; male 52.87, female 47.13%. The density of population is 254 per sq km.
