Nandigram Upazila (Bogra district) with an area of 265.47 sq km, is surrounded by Bogra Sadar and Kahaloo upazilas on the north, Singra upazila on the south, Sherpur (Bogra) upazila on the east,Adamdighi, Raninagar and Singra upazilas on the west.
Main rivers are Nagar and Bhadrabati.
Nandigram (Town) consists of one mouza. It has an area of 2.36 sq km. The town has a population of 4014; male 55.75%, female 44.25%; density of population is 1701 per sq km. Literacy rate among the town people is 50.6%. The town has one dakbungalow.
Administration Nandigram thana was established in 1932 and was turned into an upazila in 1983. The upazila consists of five union parishads, 204 mouzas and 241 villages.
