Rajasthali Upazila (Rangamati district) with an area of 145.04 sq km, is surrounded by Kaptai upazila on the north, Bandarban and Rowangchhari upazilas on the south, Belaichhari upazila on the east, Rangunia upazila on the west.

Rajasthali (Town) consists of one mouza. The area of the town is 15.54 sq km. The town has a population of 2297; male 53.06%, female 46.94%. Literacy rate among the town people is 23.84%. The town has one dakbungalow.

Administration Rajasthali thana was established in 1909 and was turned into an upazila in 1982. It consists of 7 union parishads, 9 mouzas and 17334 villages.

Historical events During the War of Liberation the separatist armed Mizo guerrillas of Mizoram collaborated with the Pak army. In a direct encounter with the Pak army in Painda Union (near the border of Bandarban district) five freedom fighters were killed. 

Population 17198; male 53.84%, female 46.16%; Muslim 20.98%, Hindu 7.8%, Buddhist 68.87%, Christian 2.33 and others 0.02%.

Hats, bazars Kats and bazars are 3, most noted of which is Bahalthania Hat. 

Main exports Timber, jackfruit, bamboo, and banana.
