Rajpara Thana (Rajshahi district) area of 56.98 sq km, is surrounded by Paba upazila on the north, south and west, Boalia thana on the west. The Ganges occupies a notable part of the thana. 

Rajpara (Town) Rajpara thana, under Rajshahi City Corporation, is located in Lakshmipur mouza. Most of the administrative offices and other establishments of the district are located in this thana. 

Administration Rajpara thana was established on 1 July 1992 taking parts from Boalia thana, and Paba upazila. It has only metropolitan police administration. About 55% area of the thana belongs to the urban area and rest to rural area. It consists of 34 mouzas and 3 wards. Of the mouzas 21 belongs to Paba upazila and 13 to Boalia thana.

Archaeological heritage Lakshmipur Shahi Jami Mosque (sixteenth century).

Historical events During the War of Liberation a three hours encounter between the Bangali police and the Pak army was held on 27 March 1971 in which many members of the Bangali police were killed.
