Sadarpur Upazila (Faridpur district) with an area of 290.21 sq km, is surrounded by Char Bhadrasan and Dohar upazilas on the north, Bhanga upazila on the south, Shibchar and Sreenagar upazilas on the east, Nagarkanda upazila on the west. 

Main rivers are Padma, Arial Khan and Bhubaneshwar. 

Sadarpur (Town) consists of 2 mouzas. The area of the town is 3.01 sq km. The population of the town is 3968; male 53.02%, female 46.98%. The density of population is 1318 per sq km. The literacy rate among the town people is 40.1%. 

Administration Sadarpur thana was turned into an upazila in 1984. The upazila consists of 9 union parishads, 87 mouzas and 287 villages. 

Archaeological heritage Residence of Baishrashi Zamindar (Roy Bahadur Rajendra Ray Chowdhury) and Krishnapur Kali Mandir.
