Tentulia Upazila (Panchgarh district) extreme northern upazila of Bangladesh with an area of 189.12 sq. km is surrounded by West Bengal of India on the north, south and west, Panchgarh Sadar upazila on the east. Main rivers are Dahuk, Karatoya, Mahananda.

Tentulia (Town) consists of one mouza. The area of the town is 4.23 sq km. It has a population 3756; male 50.77%, female 49.23%. The density of population is 888 per sq km. Literacy rate among the town people is 45.7%.

 Administration Tentulia thana was established in 1857 and was turned into an upazila in 1993. It consists of 7 union parishads, 36 mouzas and 242 villages.

Archaeological heritage Remnants of a fort at a place named Buraburi between Bhajanpur and Tentulia, Bhadreswar Temple, Shiva-temple, two tombstones of the Greek sculptural.

Value of land The market value of the first grade arable land is about Taka 3500 per 0.01 hectare.

Cottage industries Cap making factory 1, welding 3, bamboo work 125, goldsmith 7, blacksmith 4, wood work 50, tailoring 70. 

Hats, bazars Hats and bazars are 16, most noted of which are Shalbahan, Bhajanpur, Sepoypara, Tirnoi.

Main exports Watermelon, pineapple, jackfruit, garlic, papaya, pebble.
